Bad company 2 + Modern warfare 2 = ?

So have you already seen it? :

We know that dice was making their multiplayer, but damn, this yes! this really seems like call of duty and bfbc2 Baby!( i am not saying : bf + mw, i'm saying : bc + mw , dont missunderstood, bc is not a bf)

It seems nice, even better cause i'll have acess to its beta cause of buying bc2, but damn!some sounds are the same! even the hud (check the apc hud(AND MODEL)) looks the same just a little modified... and the animations... the reloads and stuff, even the sniper when he does soemthing that i dont know the exact word but it is when he is putting out the old bullet cartridge and loads a new bullet into it , you have to do that with bold action weapons, the animation almost looks the same as the m95 and the GOL .
Once again i'm not complaining it seems a cool game, but wont you have a strange feeling when playing it? wont it look like u'll be playing bfbc2 without destruction?

As I already played MW2 and BC2 and since I find both of this game good potential but quickly boring in their current state, I'm not really sure I want a mix of both.

looks okay but i want to see some PC footage. Not sure if i will buy this or not. I am happy with BFBC2 for the moment and all my friends are playing it. Maybe down the road but will not be buying day 1. I will wait till i get some beta time.

Speaking of the beta i registered at the gun club. It shows that i am a VIP member but i cant seem to find a way to register for the beta. There is another check box for pre ordering MOH which i have not. If i am reading this correctly you would need to be both VIP and pre order MOH to get access to beta?

Yes you need to preorder the game too (they didn't said anyhting about it at the E3), you can only get the M24 otherwise. But it's only for an early access, I think you can get into the beta after 21 june if they give keys somewhere.

wow that was a really really nice trailer actually. and like you said it man bad company 2 + modern warfare 2, the guns look MW2 ish while terrain and vehicles look BC2 ish.

Im getting this game, if i see good pc footage and more down the road PC wise and popularity if it goes up

At the moment, there is only one way to get a beta key, and that is by preordering. I am sure there will be sites giving away keys though, as there always are (I didn't preorder BC2 and I got 15 keys!). Signing up for the gun club only affects when you can access the beta. If you sign up, you can access the beta the 17th. If you don't, you have to wait until the 21st. But you have to preorder it to get the code.

As said, it looks like the offspring of MW2 and BC2. I would have loved MW2 if it weren't for a few...features (or lack thereof?), and I love BC2, so I probably should like this game. The only problem I see is the game just getting...stale. I may be playing 3 games, but really, they are all the same. No variation between them. I also hate the flashing thing that pops up when you get points. Hopefully there will be a way to get rid of that. And I did notice the player firing rockets at infantry lol.

I still feel burned by the last two MoH games, PA and Airborne. I won't be rushing out to get this one until I've heard some intelligent feedback.

I call this game "Medal of Honor: Call of Bad Duty: Modern Company Warfare 2."

Don't put too much expectation on this game. This is intended as the MW2 killer in EA's mind. I'll probably pass this in favor of BC2'Nam and COD7. I haven't had any MOH game other than the first one.

Unless its MP actually plays like what we cry for BF3.

GO to 1:00, EXACTLY the same Heavy MG from Bad Company 2. I don't see why all you guys are getting excited this just looks like some new maps for squad deathmatch lol....

But nevertheless I will preorder from steam to try the beta first, I guess BC2 and a MW2(ish) game would work better than as a battlefield game.

A few things need to change over the course of the beta from that video like the position of the points being aquired, but at least the knife seems to work. Given this is also on the frostbite engine I would assume Dice would be using the MoH beta as a test platform for tweaks they can add to BC2.

@ 1:05 on that video, bottom right corner theres a 2x score message, looks like there is kill streaks of sorts.

Medal of Honor Beta

The first one on the field makes the rules. You'll be knee-deep in shells while your friends are still drooling over the game trailer. Early access starts June 17.

Requirements:

* Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIP status
* Redeem your beta key after pre-ordering Medal of Honor

Everyone on PC has the BC2 VIP status, but to get early access you need to pre-order, however you still have until november to cancel it if its crap.

BazaJayTee cleared this up a bit. Pre-ordering with BC2 Vip gets you early access 17th. If you dont have BC2 Vip and you pre-ordered you get it on the 21st.
