Yeah, its really hard to say what will happen with this game. Treyarch did a beta, but IW had an SP demo in CoD4. I personally think W@W was well rounded and better because of their beta than CoD4 was with the demo.

Didnt CoD4 have a beta for consoles though? (according to IMFDB, one of the images on that site is apparantly for the beta)

Yes they did as I participated in the Xbox360 beta of COD4.

I don't care about a beta to be honest. Just release an early demo, the players who find bugs in betas will do the same in the demo, and the company won't be tasked with restricting access to prevent the flood of users who treat it simply as an opportunity to play the game early.

Honestly, Treyarch knows what to do right. Give us CoDTV, give us developer console, mod/dedi support, give us all those features that make PC such a strong platform and we will have a great game with a lot of potential for both public and competitive play.

If you mean a PC CoD and a Console CoD, it has been talked about in the past, but the focus of the CoD/Battlefield/Valve is to have everything together for a central meeting place, so to speak.
