Mines are great in any body of water. Also crests of hills or anywhere just out of sight on roadways. Shell craters are also excellent spots for mines.

Laguna Presa on defender. 1st two sets of MCOMS in the shallow sections of the rivers to your far left.. Use the extra explosive perk and place in pairs. Try to set the next pair a good distance away so the first pair does not set off the second and third. Take along a friend that is Assault for more ammo, rinse and repeat. Boats usually have 2+ people in them and you can easily rack up mine kills that way. Another is on Atacama @ B in the water.

Ok i am not gonna give away to many secrets but will give one big tip away .


Most tank whores are clued up to them being placed in the water ,Aticama and Lagune ect , I thought let's take the battle to them ,

1. Find a stationary tank and creep up on it.
2. Place 2 mines right behind the tank.
3. Throw grenade on mine and run KABOOM.

Be warned you get called a hacker though .

water and craters are my favourite hehehe, although hills are funny as hell, watching team mates scatter as it rolls up only to hit a mine

on Panama there are some good ramps as well that mines work beautifully on, as well as lots of rubble to hide mines in

yup, North most piece of water that the attackers drive down I always plant 6 mines alone it, I use a pyramid pattern, with 3 mines at the base, 2, 1 and so on. Tip of the pyramid placed to the east, most boats hit the tip of the pyramid and boom, easy multi kill, if they somehow get past that they hit the other mines

for jetskis I try and shoot the mines in the water as the guy drives near them, assuming they don't go off themselves

also love the mine chucking and shooting (or grenading) tactic, it is awesome, I remember once also throwing 6 landmines onto wookie hill on Valdez

they detonated and I got about 5-6 kills lol

The last (or second to last. The one with the long destructable bridge) MCOM on Laguna Presa is where I got more than half of my mine kills. Just set off a mine or grenade on the bridge and the vehicles have only one spot to get to your base and it is through a narrow stream that leads to the hill with the MCOM. Free kills from the APC and HumV.
