Can't get no servers to come up.

I tried updating a few times, and nothing. I checked punkbuster and still nothing. Need some help here.

Need more information then that. What OS are you running? What is the version number on the BC2 screen at load up? You playing the game through steam? Have you tried running the game in administration mode? Tried running the bc2update in administration mode?

Check all server preferences, cross all server preferences, then untick every single box and try again.

Worked for me.

What language is your BFBC2 running at?

I'm getting the same thing. It just sits there searching......

windows 7
ATI 5850 1gb
12 gb ddr3 ram
asus p6t
intel LGA 1366 or something like that CPU

Everything is up to date and i entered the proper ports in DIR 655 router

Don't know if this helps but no where in the load up screen can I find a version number. It just says something like "EAgames battlefield bad company 2 copywright. All rights reserved."

Its in the lower right hand corner of the login screen.

haha no it's not.. there's even a scrolling marquee at the bottom but I never saw a version number there. Weird....

OK, if there is not, then your BC2 is not up to date. For the non-steam version there is a updater.exe of some name (I forget the name) that you need to run as administrator on. It will load the updates. It is in the same folder as the game .exe file.

Try that.

I uninstalled, deleted the EA folder and deleted Temp files. Reinstalled with all firewalls down and it works now.
