your not going to find a any server restricting this tactic since it would be against the TOS for the game, you can not restrict a players gameplay, IE no tanks or aircraft or you get banned.

Against the TOS? You have got to be kidding? As though that would stop any server from enforcing any of their own specific rules. I played on a server last night that would kick/ban if the defenders lingered in the attacking team's AO after the defenders lost their Mcomms.

It's a perfectly viable tactic, especially for taking out a Mcom station when the rest of your lousy team is in the corner of the map sniping, especially since they adjusted the amount of explosives needed to destroy a mcom, your still going to have to make atleast 2 runs at it and a alert enemy will shoot you off the 4 wheeler every-time.

I just don't see a VBIED doing damage to a TANK or a taliban stupid enough to drive one into a tank. The type of explosion just wouldn't scratch it.

They have destroyed Bradleys and Abrams with VBIED, and they are crazy enough to drive right up to them. I have videos showing proof. You just have to put up with the retarded auto tuned arabs singing really annoying songs. I would post them on this thread, but i dont think it would be productive.

Yeah, I know who you were talking about. However, they are not represented in this game. Hence, it is not a valid tactic.

Jihad jeeps only annoyed me in BF2/BF2142 because you could never get tank rounds to consistently register on them so all they had to do was swerve a little bit and the main gun would just go poof on them instead of taking them out. I've found reg in BC2 to be much more solid on moving vehicles and people in them so I can't see Jihading being that big of an issue.

When was the last time you read, saw or heard about the US Army or the Russian special forces employing this tactic.

Jihad jeeping is lame, always has been. Most servers in BF2 would kick for it.

Taliban use VBIEDs all the time. I wasn't talking about the USMC or the Russians.

No separatists. They are either enlisted in the US or Russian Army just like regular soldiers. But you never know their intentions.
Anyway, the game was designed like this. Don't think it wasn't.

In Project Reality mod you have suicide car, you don't need to throw C4 on it or bail, you can explose confortably from your car (you die if you bail at full speed anyway).

As for BC2 we just need to wait for the MEC faction to come, that way no one will complain if you're an arab using Jihad jeep.

I think the islamists are using this jihad tactics quite successfully. Even better, if they just kill that mofo and get away alive. Much better than the Gustav suicidals.
