Being able to thank someone after being revived or resupplied just gave you that sense of comradeship and seemed to even encourage helping your team. The lack of this type of communication in BC2 just adds to the overall relatively shallower experience compared to the other BFs.

Actually, I miss being able to say simple "Thanks" via the comm-rose. I also don't like having to look across the map to find a freaking engine and hope the spotting toggles that player to say "I need a repair".

BF3 should have it. Maybe this console clone just limits it. But, you know how they have that iPhone bashing commercial saying "there's an app for that!"? Well, those consoles gamepads have an F! load of buttons on it. Why isn't one of them for a comm-rose?

I agree, the simple command of being able to thank someone for dropping ammo, repairing, reviving or simply saving your life is crap. This is why i have one of my programmable buttons programmed to say "Ty" in chat

Yes the thanks feature would be pretty decent. even if it was automatic it was very necessary.

On top of No/Yes/Thank You (so basic chat commands), I really miss the good old "FOLLOW ME", I loved it when I got a squad of pubs actually following me :)

They at least need to make the new quick chats say what they are asking. You can never hear the teammates saying "Hey I need a ride!" or "I'm bingo on ammo!". All you see is their name flash with an ammo or med icon next to it. That doesn't help.

And the most important Comrose command, "Bail out!", "Get out!", "Jump out!". Nothing worse than waiting for people to jump out so they can get the flag you've been hovering by for 10min.
