vss issue

so i just unlocked the vss and was using the 4x scope, and half of my hits were not registering,anybody else have this issue?I know the hitreg in this game is not perfect,but this was horrific.And I tried several different servers.I was literally shooting whole clips into people with no hit marker ever appearing.

Yeah, happens to me at certain times with just about every weapon.

One of my clanmates has been having problems with hitreg after the patch came out. We were playing 1v1 waiting for our server to fill up and we were using the same shotgun and he couldn't hit almost all of the time. Anyways, I love the VSS. I think it works better if you use a RedDot because you can use it like a more powerful SMG but with even worse long range accuracy. If you have to shoot long distances with that gun, you HAVE to shoot one bullet at a time or it will fly all around the enemy. (I prefer using the VSS in the 2 Squad gamemodes because I'm usually in CQ with enemies)

I have issues like that with the G3, you shoot, with any other weapon you would have hit with all your bullets, but with that one every other 1 seems to be blank.

Yes I know, as was playing y'day using the M24 with mag ammo and 12x scope and the only time my shots would register is when the person I was firing at was about 40 yards and closer. Might as well quit using the damn sniper rifles. Typical of EA............fix one problem and screw up 2 others.

I have issues like that with the G3, you shoot, with any other weapon you would have hit with all your bullets, but with that one every other 1 seems to be blank.

Its different with the G3, you really have to tame that gun in this game, if you hold the trigger down expect to feel like you are firing blanks. The trick is in the 2 or 3 shot bursts.

Just an FYI... the Vintorez is horribly inaccurate when going full auto. Always single tap or fire 2 bullets tops in a burst. Talking from experience here.

Didn't really think hit reg got that much worse... seems about the same for me

I generally try to stick to a few select servers

some servers I have tried just perform terribly, with lag, rubberbanding and rubbish reg

so once I find nice servers I make sure I favourite them etc, sometimes you will get the odd laggy person that takes a few more bullets to die but overall I get very nice hitreg

VSS should have been an Engineers gun IMO. Probably the best CQB gun out there if used right. The ROF is awesome.

Proud of it. Did you also look up where i dont noob out and use the FOTM scrub weapons like the Carl Gustav,40mm and M60? Yea, feels good not to rely on OP weapons to get kills..

Now i do admit im a UAV whore. But i think it takes skill to keep it airborne for more than 10 minutes + at a time. Much more skill than a fire and forget CG IMO. Next? :nod:
