    multiple bc2.exe instances

I don't know if this has already been talked about, but I just discovered that when I shut the game down,it remains running in my task manaager. At one point, after multiple gamplay sessions,I actually had 5 instances of the BC2.exe running in the processes part of the task manager.I am using win764bit.

same here. I'm not sure if it started with the last patch, but its been happening to me too. everytime I quit BC2 now I have to go kill the process.

SAME HERE. LAST PATCH SUCKS. Lagg like foxing hell when spaming (takes like 6 seconds to spam sometimes and game looks like a powerpoint presentation) and the game stays running ****ing up my processor speed

You guys have Nvidia cards? With the latest drivers, 197.45 I think, this stopped happening for me.
        It's worth a shot, gents.

Yea, latest Nvidia drivers stopped this for me, I get the BFBC2client.exe staying on, but that's atleast not as memory hungry.

One thing I did to make it easy to see if the .exe is still running is disable visual themes and disable desktop composition in the compatibility settings on the BFBC2Game.exe.

It turns off Aero Glass features and makes your desktop look all flat and grey while the .exe is still running. Once the process ends everything goes back to normal. So if it DOESN'T go back to normal, you know to kill the process. From what I hear it's supposed to improve performance as well.

You should really try the driver update if you haven't yet. I haven't had the .exe stay running since I updated.

It was happening from the start not last patch. And it's either gone away for me in either the last patch or driver updates.

I have no idea why it's still doing it for you.
You're the first person I've seen that still has it happening after updating drivers.

You did update your drivers, right?
