what happened to minimum players to start

I joined an empty server to test graphics settings and FPS, etc
I hopped in a vehicle that I never drove before
and got credit for 'driving time' (just happened to go check my stats)

to verify, I re-entered the server and capped 3 flags and got a pin and few hundred points
hmmm . . . thought there was a 4 player limit to getting score???

You can go into an empty server and it will start scoring for a limited time, if a minimum of 4 players do not show up in a certain time, you will receive a message that scoring has stopped due to a minimum amount of players not in the server. That's what I have found thus far.
