About BF2, when there was one guy left somewhere the commander just had to spot him, he had all the tools he needed for that, which isn't the case in BC2 and could lead to some problems (attackers hiding somewhere for 10 minutes just for a chance to C4 the MCOM). That's the only problem I see if you don't lose after 0 tickets.
But yeah, it won't change anyways, the rules are what they are and they are fair enough.
