I'm getting tired of these complaints. Yes, you hate getting killed with 40mm grenades because everyone spams them. HOWEVER, every time I see someone who just runs around with the 40mm GL out, they are never the highest scoring person on the team and they usually have a horrible KDR.

I got tired of getting killed by the tubes so I got the tube out and showed them what it is like.

I can now say I am a not so proud owner of a noobtube platinum star.

I think Dice should take time to think on this one. Remember what happened after the tube got nerfed on BF2? It was practically useless. I do, however, remember one grand time I managed to kill a 3 man squad getting comfortable under a tree

Not much for me to say anything about the weapons, cause I have been owned pretty much by alot of them.

Stop making yourself out to be so tough. I easily SAW through my noob tubing enemies but the average reaction from any player is noob tube, not shoot your rifle ; NOOB TUBE, it's stupid and you know it.


It's not bad when the enemy does it it's bad when my ****ing squad mates REFUSE to use their rifle because they can't aim for **** all and literally stop to reload the tube MIDST combat and get me and the rest of the squad killed. So yeah they may not be high on the score board but they're messing your gameplay on both teams.

I don't know... I really don't get killed by it that much - and when I do, I just whip it out and starting launching 40mm nukes in every direction.

DICE won't adjust the weapons because one is used too much; that's ridiculous logic. They would only do it if it the weapon is severely overpowered, but, as you yourself readily admit, noob-toobers often do quite poorly in a match. You can't force noobs to become anything but what they already are by merely changing weapon stats. If DICE entirely removed the 40mm GL from BC2, you would still get noobs that screw up game play. It's ridiculous to think that nerfing the 40ml would actually improve teamwork and make noobs better at the game.

Additionally, to always expect quality teamwork and players on your team and in your squads, on public servers no less, is just plain naïveté.

The Carl Gustav,40mm and the M60 are to get easy kills with and everyone knows it, there is no denying it. No matter how you try to spin it, they are skilless weapons. That is why the majority of people use it. The skill it takes with these weapons is close to none. I let my seven year old daughter play for a round, showed her a spot and she went 14-8 her first time ever playing an fps with the m60. Ill use a WoW reference here. Its like using a Pally and thinking you are skilled. I have watched team mates literally use nothing but 40mm the whole round. Hell, there was a level 6 with 3 gold stars on the 40mm today. Shoot,reload 40mm, drop ammo bag, rinse and repeat, the WHOLE game.. IMO these are the people that don't put in the effort to learn weapons that may be a little harder to master. It get annoying after a while. Just my 2c. The "I use this weapon because it's easier" makes me fkn sick.

How ignorant, you put words in my mouth and insult my intelligence because you think I expect teamwork from a public server. That's downright stupid, Jake. I really don't think they put in a slew of weapons that slaughter mountains of men so people could only use one aspect of the game.

I expect people to use the gun in their inventories, and not just the 40mm exclusively. Which is not directly team related and related to overall gameplay. If that's me expecting teamwork then so be it I suppose, but I don't really see how you don't want that.


And where in my post did I say remove the 40mm? Can you point it out? Pretty sure any suggestions I ever had was "Why didn't they make it an option to have one, instead of having it consistently mounted on the AR"


What do I want them to do to the 40mm? Something, my ideas for it would probably piss people off. What I personally want is a second and a half before it goes off when you click the trigger, why? it'd tone down the "damn, I don't wanna aim let me switch to this in the midst of combat and blow this guy up".

Lot's of things annoy me too. Awful drivers start to annoy me daily. I just deal with it and move on. Unless you want every weapon to be identical, one weapon will always be more popular than others for whatever reason. Noobs will then flock to that weapon and you will get frustrated because you die with that weapon in their hands too often.

Not really whining, just stating the obvious. Easy fix would to add a arming distance with the 40mm, where i have to admit , takes skill to get kills that way. Don't get me started with drivers lol. Especially senior citizens in Florida, and people texting while driving.

You hypocrite. I never said that you wanted DICE to remove it. Find where I said that yourself. I implied that you wanted it nerfed and I tried to explain that even if it were removed, there would still be noobs abusing easy "weapons."

I fail to see how it was so incorrect that you expected teamwork from squadmates. You were clearly complaining about how frustrating it is to have a squad mate who is a noob-toober and doesn't work with the team.

You're too angry to even read and understand my post. Why should I bother debating with you when you'll only get angrier and use more insults and less logic?
