                I loved the effects.

The storyline was a bit disjointed; it didn't seem to mesh too well together. That was my main beef. But the visuals and such were superb.

                  Re: Sands of Fire Released

In my opinion the effects are ultimately pointless if you cant write a basic comprehensive story line that is not saturated with overused sound-bytes from games and films. The effects are meant to embellish the product, not be its sole basis..

And comon, a MEC suicide bomber? they should have used PR for much much better 3p weapons and at least modded out kit bag geos, 5 years man.... and its the basics that let it all down.

                          Re: Sands of Fire Released

I found it a bit tedious, very nice editing job, but the story seemed weak to me as well. Part one, really put me to sleep, part 2 kept me because I was trying to remember the maps since I haven't played bf2 since cod4 came out. Why didn't they bring the Apache lol, there would have been no issues if they had brought an Apache instead of the BH, and who flies that low. I was half expecting the "battlefield moment" where the rpg flies through the BH, which happened more times than it hit it. Then the BF music, bum bum ba bum bum....

Superb editing but story was very weak. No I couldn't probably do better, but that's why my movies aren't posted anywhere public :P

Filming was done in 2005, no PR then.
