    Nostalgia

Does anyone play Half-Life anymore? And I mean the ORIGINAL. That is, and always will be, my favorite game. I grew up with that game, you see. Gotta get another copy of it, but wondering if the game is worth it, except for Nostalgia and Single Player.

It was $.98 on Steam a while back. I picked it up then but haven't ever gotten around to playing it.

You can tell it's old when you play it, but it's a lot better than HL2 or any of the episodes. It's very moody and has an unique feeling of yourself being fully in control of the game when it's in fact very linear.

That's what I loved about the original game. Would just walk around and explore the "Pre-Black Mesa Incident" Black Mesa. I might just get it again. Are people still in the Multiplayer? What about Team Fortress Classic?

Grew up with the game and spent many nights staying up late playing it and failing tests because of it .

Great game - everyone should have a go at least once through it. Opposing Force was a GREAT HL modification that I recommend as well.
