Update + Server Browser

So I'm finally able to play MP as of today :yay: but when I ran the updater it just launched the game and I can't find any servers...

Is there a way of DLing the update manually?

I'm currently re-installing. Any ideas will be much appreciated :salute:

EDIT: Just finished reinstalling, and the updater still launches the game and it's still hopeless...

Are you setting the game and the updater to run as administrator?

If not, thats where you are messing up.

You didnt mention what youve tried or what system you have or what drivers you are running or anything. I had nothing to go by other than you are not updating.

Are you running the game on steam? Since you have the updater file, it sounds like you are not. And you setup both the updater and the game as admin? Not logged in as admin, but actually checked the box stating to run as admin?

I know you meant well, but it's me, not some randomer

I'm pretty sure I'm up-to-date and all my gear. I've reinstalled like 3 times, checked online for manual updates, not on steam. It did work once at school but it couldn't connect due to the stupid proxy network (clicked the wrong icon when going to play )

Logged in as admin (it's the only acc. on my laptop) both are checked as Run as Admin... IDK what to do

So there's no way to update manually then? Stupid DICE....

Not that I know of. The updater is suppose to be the mana from heaven.

Its strange that it worked on another machine from school. What DX are you running? OS at school and at home?

No, it worked on my laptop at school (the update.exe) but it didn't physically update because the school's proxy network denied access. And now that I'm at home the updater.exe launches the GAME not the UPDATER

So like... I thought I wold try my luck again this morning... And it worked! :yay:

I didn't change anything or do anything (that I know of) and it worked
