Award for all bronze stars.

Okay, I'm trying to get the Distinguished Battlefield Knowledge Award, which means you need to get all bronze stars.
But do they really mean you need to get bronze stars for everything? Or just only for the primary weapons or something? Because I now have at least a bronze star for all my primary weapons except the M1, so I don't know if it's the M1 holding my award back or that I need to get bronze stars for other stuff. So how do I get this award? Do I also need to get bronze stars with things like the Repair Tool and that medic revive thing? :p

Yes the M1 Garand is included in the Insignia, so until they stats start tracking for that weapon you can go for the bronze star,

The insignia doesnt include shock paddles, repair tool, tracer dart etc,

Well I'm not sure about the M1 tracking... An enemy was using the M1 when I was playing yesterday. He killed me twice and I noticed a few other kills he got.

Elim means in the Weapons and Gadgets stats, you can use the M1 in the game it just wont give you any stars yet.

yeh Garand doesn't track kills atm, is quite annoying, I need to get bronze on it

does the underbarrel shotgun for assault count as well? I used that last night and its a beast, was hoping it would track and award stars

I don't think gadgets count for the award, think its just the primary weapons & pistols.

I believe he was asking if the 40mm Shotgun got Bronze/Silver/Gold/Plat stars, and yes they do. :)

If you get killed by someone using an M1 Garand and they WOULD have a bronze/silver/gold etc star, it will actually show them as having that star (so basically in the kill cam where it tells you which gun you got killed by and what skill level they have with it). So the stats kinda do track, kinda...
