Client update 523648 will be available during Monday

It’s cleared QA for both non-Steam and Steam.

This is a small update for a bug that was found the same day that we released the previous patch.

Changes:
• Server browser downloads 100 entries instead of 500 in a chunk – this makes the “Cancel” button more responsive
• Fixed crash during server browser refresh
• Low-level networking library switched back to the optimized version (the game client was temporarily running with one that had more debugging logic in it)
• Localization fixes in the scoreboard

That sounds very interesting. A slowdown in the network code could cause lots of issues, e.g. bad hit detection

Patched.. played for 15 minutes, whole pc locks up.. Every other game and app works fine except BC2...

yup had my first lock up... usually i had CTDs but it won't even CTD and just lock up now.

I find that I am no longer killed by Carl-Gustav. Did they fix it?

nope, i've just killed like 40 guys with it my last couple rounds

and then i CTD'd at the end of the 2nd round. :evil:
