I went to a server today, PB bans on every 4-5 mins. I was happy to see this but at the same time was wondering if it wasn't false positives.

probably not, he is a stat padder not a cheater, they ban hack users not stat padders

Best part is, the losers typically pay for the aimbots too, so they shell out for the game and the aimbot, and don't get to use either. OWNED

I'm not commenting on punkbuster but it wasn't that long ago that many of the same people in the loop on the anticheats were in the same loop on cheating. The first anticheats made for pc gaming were developed by the guys making the cheats so they could maximize profits..

Getting out of hand? No this is just harmless fun. The losers are still safe behind the anonymity of the Internet.
When PB activates their webcam and post their mugshot as they are reading their ban message, then things have gotten out of hand. Maybe.

We might seem a bit hateful, but cheaters are ruining the game for everybody else. They don't even need to be present to do this, their deeds leave a trail of suspicions and accusations in all games.

I think this is getting really out of hand now, we even have a feed as to who gets banned in the forums by PB.

200 people from the 100,000 people playing is a small majority of the hackers within that group and we all seem to be treating it as the second coming?
