What will i be missing

Alright so, i am yet to purchase Bad Company 2. reason being im concentrating on school, and i know the way i act so i have to deprieve myself of any gaming, except occasional MW2 because i already have it. And if i purchase bad company 2 now i will never get any work done, i will be playing BC2 everyday all day.

So i plan on buying it in April, around..April 18th, because i have a big final for one of my classes on the 16th.

What will i be missing from BC2, i know people will have higher ranks, but as a player will i be that far behind all the guys? i tend to purchase big games on release dates, but not this time around. i really like this, i have played battlefield games all the way from years ago.

If you don't buy it, you'll start dealing with another thing. The game's going to be on your mind and that might have an effect on your school work anyway. Buy the game, and get it over with. :P

BFBC2 -> At best for 3 years.

Life -> Experiences and memories.

Concentrate on school first.

Buy it if you want. However if you play it, you may be spending all your time getting it to work properly or getting on a server. Finish school first and then find me because I'll probably be under lvl 5.

The problem is that everybody else will be running around with Magnum ammo, bulletproof vests and increased explosive damage.
That might make it a bit hard to enter the game late.

Like I said, it's not going to go away. The game's still going to be in the back of his mind. I say buy the game and maybe play on weekends for fun. You'll be very happy with the game and happiness leads to less procrastination to study and do school work.

That might make it a bit hard to enter the game late.

One thing about BFBC2 is that it doesnt take long to unlock everything. He will have those things in a weeks time. Even faster if he has the time to dedicate to strictly gaming and no school work to worry about.

4-5 weeks isn't long. Do what you have to, to finish school.

EDIT.....don't listen to HighRisk. Who cares if the game is on your mind. Thats not gonna interfere with your school work.

You wont miss anything. You rank up fast to get the weapons and though you may start out at a small disadvantage, you will catch up quicklly.

Unless, of course, you die from a car accident/earthquake/brain aneurysm/suicide bomber before then, in which case you will have spent the final hours of your life toiling away in hope for a future that never came and never got to enjoy the game you put off playing because of it. Not saying your way of thinking is wrong, but every coin has two sides, mate.

Certainly hasn't interfered with my school work.. 3.5GPA here. I'm just speaking from experience. When all your friends are playing the game and you're sitting there doing nothing. You HAVE to have some leisure time to play the game. If you can't do time management then, that's another story.

READ! I have 3.9 gpa here. Liberal Arts and Professional Studies.

I only game for an hour before I spend the next 10 hours fraggin in school.

University is crucial for your future career, don't EFF up here.
