MW2 offers $15 DLC, Internet turns on activision

    Saw this on Digg: http://digg.com/xbox/Modern_Warfare_...IFTEEN_DOLLARS

Some of the comments made me lol, but seems like a lot of people might be coming to BC2 after this stunt.

Idiots! Instead of making it free to lure back all the players that switched over to BC2.

Youd think after racking in the world's money IW would think about giving back a little? No? Ok, we have BC2. But I'm not surprised after the stupid decision to exclude dedicated servers, they could have made their world record so much higher.

This makes no sense to me. What's their marketing team doing?!? They are losing customers in the long run.

              Complete morons.

Yes, they will make money off this, and that is all they care about.

Think about it, if they gave it away for free, yes there would be more players brought back ... but that's not their goal. (Clearly)

If they charge, even if only 1/4 of the customer base that originally bought the game buys the map pack ... that's thousands of dollars they would've never gotten.

Scammers. I ain't buying it. I haven't touched Modern Warfare 2 since BC2 beta came out ... and it currently is uninstalled and will remain that way :)

I think they plan to get what they can realizing that it isn't going to bring people back. People aren't going to stop playing a game because of the price of a map pack. The people who think another game is better isn't going to go back to MW2 if they stopped playing it because of a new map pack.

Their marketing team might be smarter than you think.

Loads of people will buy it. All they have to do is make the popular playlists require the map pack. This little trick was pioneered by Bungie I believe.

Still not regretting my decision to pass on MW2.
