    Headset questions

Hey, I have some questions about headsets and the voice:
-Is it possible to only hear other people trough your headset and still hear the normal sounds trough your speakers?
-If so, how can I enable that?

    thanks!

    Re: Headset questions

I think you would need an external VOIP program for that, like Teamspeak.

Yea, I have teamspeak and I can talk there but the game automatically 'shuts down' my speakers and sends to the sound to my headset :/ Even with hifi/small speakers set as option in the sound menu :'(

Oh, so you want to have speakers as default, but let TS send the output to the headset?
I know you can do that in TS2, I havent played much with TS3.

Look for these settings if you have Realtek onboard sound, it may be what you are looking for.

Woot thanks I set it to the second option now but now I hear the sounds both in my headset and in the speakers xD.
Any idea to shut the sound down in my headset and only allow ts to be on there?

I am not sure, try messing around with the setting in the sound control panel as shown below. If nothing else you may be able to turn down the general volume in the headset and then crank Teamspeaks own volume up.
