Friends on friends list disappeared

So, I get online to play today, and ea servers are down. I try a couple hours later and they're back up. The bad thing is that all of the friends on my friends list are now gone. Anybody else have this problem today??

Used to happen in BF2142, then it would be back later that day or the next.

It's caused by the servers being down. You shouldn't have to re-add them; they'll be back up sooner or later.

I believe they reset the friends list because half the time it didn't work.

erased for me too i wanted to play last night but the servers were down from 5h00 to 9h00 PM...

Yeah, EA said they reset the friends list. Gotta add em all over again.

But yep i lost mine too, and if u wana know it were just 3 xD 2 my clan mates and 1 some cool guy wich voipd and teamworked with me wile in game and same squad

Yes, because a series should be associated with being buggy. Solid argument you've got there.

I don't care how buggy the previous games were, it's not an excuse for this crap that has happened with BC2. A completely broken server browser, constant CTD's, various ingame bugs, it's clearly just not a polished game. It doesn't matter if BF2, BF2142, or any other games were like that - it's simply unethical to sell people a clearly unpolished product.
