  • Ubisoft.

I see Ubisoft went the way of MW2 meaning they raised the price on their PC games. I guess they saw that people would actually pay 60 dollars for a PC game so they decided they would charge people the same amount for Assassin's Creed 2. Not that I would buy AC2 after hearing about all the issues people are having with the DRM problem. Is this the new trend to follow, to raise the price of PC games? If these companies see that people are willing to pay that amount for PC games then they probably say why not.

    Re: Ubisoft.

Considering were talking about multiplatform releases which sales on the PC version make a smaller impact, I see it as an experiment on how the market reacts to a 10 dollar increase. PC gamers are also more critical when it comes to such decisions, so expect a price increase for console games to follow very soon. MW2 sold better than MW1, experiment ended in a success.

      Re: Ubisoft.

Whatever launch price they are, three years later, they are all $19.99.

      edit:

Wait for two more years, then you can find it for $9.99 at bargain bin during holiday sale.
