Game consistently crashing (last couple of days)

Like the title says, my game has been crashing like hell in the last few days, I haven't changed a thing. I have a feeling it was something to do with an update EA/DICE put out but I just don't know

I run everything on Low, with pretty much every setting as low as it can be.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
4gigs of Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX 768mb
Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit.

The driver I have installed are the 196.21 version.

Like I said before this has been happening over the last day or two, and it happens almost every game and I am getting SICK of it. :dead:

Frosty, many are having the same issue. I dont know if we can fix it. Is your game a direct purchase or a download from steam?

It's a download from steam.

However I think I may have found a solution on the EA Forums, it basically said stay in a locked squad or don't be in a squad at all and the issue will be eradicated. So far had about 1/2 hours of solid play with no crashes while in a locked squad. It may be something to do with people joining through the friends list into your squad or just selecting the "put me in a squad" tab while joining.

Try it out and tell me if you get a fix
