Punkbuster again

Hey folks,

So when I join a BF-BC2 server, every now and then it lets me play. Otherwise it kicks me saying, "You've been kicked for 0 minutes. Punkbuster INIT failure.

I've updated punkbuster but I still have the same problem.

Lots of people are having this problem. There doesnt appear to be a solotion.

I downloaded pbsvc, uninstalled punkbuster service and re-installed it , now it works fine - may help you too.

I tried that (and manual update) with no succes.

There is also this post over at http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...179596&page=11

Its a server issue. There is nothing client side that will fix it.

I un-installed and tried again, but no luck, now I get:

RESTRICTION: Service communication
FAILURE: PnkBstra.exe

is a good game, I'm not disappointed with it, it was working fine when I got it, now sp won't work not that I care and PB keeps kicking me, even after blah blah has been updated blah blah this files copied to that folder blah blah still not working, then I hear on another forum that it's not client side it's server side...so like get it fixed...

The PnkBstra.exe service is a different issue. The INIT failure is entirely server-side, they need to be restarted. The issue you're having is a client problem.

I think its ok now, I was on a EA server seems 2 be working hope it stays like that
