Mini map??

Played mp for the first time last night and notices there was no autmatice mini map. I could access the map pressing m, but it was really big and right in the middle of the screen. Is there a way to access or put the mini map in the left hand corner, such as in bf2 or the bfbc2 beta??

Maybe were you just playing on a Hard Core server?

I've pretty much only played a few rounds of HC mode since I downloaded it, but I assume it's still there in regular game modes.

Were you playing in Hardcore?

normally you have a small map in the corner of your screen but I think it is removed in hardcore
