A Couple of Quick Questions

Any help here would be appreciated:

1) How do I fix the spinning mouse bug? Basically in SP of MP when I join, the screen spins wildly and I can't get it to stop. I did DL the latest Nvidia drivers out today 3/2 but that didn't fix it. Assuming this is a known bug and the patch will fix? At this point I can't play it at all.

2) When will the patch be out and where can I download it? Steam doesn't seem to have it available as of 3/2 at 9:45PM MST

3) I noticed there is no "Prone" key in the menu, am I missing this? Would be handy for snipers I assume.

4) Also how the heck do I set up my own MP server that I can practice on? Can only seem to join one?

1) Never heard of a spinning mouse bug...

2) The patch is already on Steam. It installs automatically.

3) Where have you been for the last six months or so?

1. Check EA's tech support forum, best bet would be to ask around there

2. Expletive covered it, steam auto-downloads patches

3. There is no prone, and EA isn't going to implement it. Don't worry, you don't need it.

4. Just join a server with 0 people in it. Or play through the single player to get a feel for the game. You can also try joining a non-ranked server, if your afraid of your stats taking a hit while figuring things out. Otherwise, just jump into the action, you will learn the fastest that way.

Well thanks for missing me! :) I just got busy and after playing BF2 for 5 years as my only game I just got tierd of it honestly. Work, life, kids just busy with that stuff. But I'm on vacation this week so the game's release is perfect timing. I put in my new 1,000 watt Power Support and GPU tomorrow and Look forward to playing quite a bit.

The spinning mouse bug hopefully will be fixed with the new video card/patch but basically when I join an game SP or MP, I can't play and simply spin around in place at what seems like 100 MPH.

When I googled it, it did come up but wasn't sure how to fix it.

Anyway good to be back.

Last 2 questions for now, is there no commander option in BBC2 and how the heck do I start my own MP server?

Nope, no commander option in BFBC2. It's a different type of experience. Very squad/small group oriented.

And you can't start your own MP server without renting one from a game server provider that has been given the OK by DICE.
So if you want to practice without screwing over a team or something, just find a random empty server and screw around. It doesn't matter what the ping is, you won't be fighting anyone.

Your google-fu must be very weak, because that is the primary solution to weird movements in any FPS.

Noz! There's the Black Eagle and some others vehicles in the files, so I guess they're keeping the Mec for DLC then.
