  • Can this system spec run bf2 well?

My friend just got a asus g51 gaming laptop and was wondering if this gaming notebook would be able to play badcompany 2 well.
The Asus G51 is available in sizes 15.6 and 16 inch display with LED backlight (16:9 aspect ratio), there are options for an Intel Core 2 Quad or Core 2 Duo processor and it is capable of supporting up to 4GB of RAM DDR2 800MHz, dual 500GB hard drives, 2.1 megapixel camera and a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M graphics card.

    Thank you

Should be fine with medium/high settings.

Should absolutely manage high if the CPU is decent.

I think the camera is a bit lowspec though and that could drag you down.

Oh it's BC2 damn topic title.

        My laptop: Asus n51vf
        4gb ram
        2.66ghz dual core
        nvidia 130M GT.

I could run beta on min. 35fps medium 30 fps.

Retail i heard it would be better optimized.. so. as u have a better graphicboard and the rest is same thing ull be able to go from medium to high.

It will run quite well in medium settings, I believe.

i believe you need at least a 3 megapixel cam and it has to be OLED display.

Haha, love the sarcastic response on my camera to play this game lol. Anywho thanks, I thought so but today it was wierd... cause when we loaded it i started noticing that it was skipping or laggin from the start of the EA and Dice logo intro. When we played single and multi it was almost unbearable so I am wondering what is going on. Thanks for all the people that are responding.

Try changing the direct x settings. I noticed in the beta on DirectX9 would cause lots of flickering. So maybe it will help testing that out

I would say your PC is bottleneck.

Enough to run across the battlefield smoothly on low without lag, not enough to endure a firefight.
