have you tried Joy to Key, I remember having to use that for mouse look in BF2, can't remember if it would work for the throttle, but maybe you could use the hat. ?

yea, i was actually able to get my stick working with xpadder but the problem is simulated digital key presses are not even close to the precision you can get with analog controls. I'll get used to it but it sure would be nice to be-able to not have to be full throttle or no throttle all the time.
