    PSN gives error 8001050f.
    We're aware that many of you are having problems connecting to PSN, and yes, we're looking into it. Stay tuned for updates.

    Well with Bad Company 2 and Final Fantasy XIII coming out later this week better they do it now than when I'm wanting to play one of these

      It's not the Playstation Network that is down, several older PS3 models have a hardware issue that needs to be fixed. Something to do with the internal clock.

          It could be some type of delayed bug. I was talking to another PSN user and he found out that the slim line has no issues.

          Could be some type of BIOS limitation or something.

            Noticed something was wrong last night with mine I had files showing up as Corrupted data, lets hope borderlands is still in one piece I don't fancy downloading 5gb of addons again.

                Well its back up for me. It appears it was something to do with the Internal Clock thinking it was Feb 29th and so when it became 2nd March the clock moved off the imaginary date onto a real one and sorted itself out. I thought I'd lost my FIFA 10 trophies but they reappeared after a short while. Everything else looks intact.

                  Apparently a leap year bug, the internal ARM SYSCON CPU (powers up PS3 front panel) clock reported February 29 2010, of course this date does not exist and this caused issues with stuff like DRM but also the PSN and trophies.
