I just got mine. Did anyone else just receive this email. Looks like it is PS3 only from the looks of things but my PC is down so it will be good:

Man, thats an easy code to figure out. I thought it would be a lot harder to guess.

Are you only getting it for the PS3 and is that your main gaming system?

I need to check my email when I get home I guess but I really don't remember giving them my email address when I pre-ordered the game when it was supposed have been out in December of last year. Plus If I did I don't remember which email address it was. Oh well. I'll just try putting My Code in and see what happens lol.

I wish I could say I was getting in for the PC and that would be my ultimate preference since I hate playing with a controller. Sadly I will be only getting it for the PS3 at this time. When I build a new gaming rig I will be back in business real deal style. I love the whole PC atmosphere when it comes to shooters to be honest. But I'm getting used to PS3 and dealing. Lot of conviences on console like huge tv and bluetooth headsets but still can't top the PC world of gaming.

If I'm not mistaken (I could be since the news are a bit old) PC gets squad rush by default, it's console players that have to download it separately; and it's part of the VIP thing, you only get it for free if your copy is new; if it's not, you have to pay to get this mode of play.

Again: you only have to pay for this on console version IF your copy isn't new.

Squad Rush Summary

Gamemode: Squad Rush puts a squad of four players versus another squad of four players for a max of eight player matches in this intense one crate/two base infantry only version of the Rush gamemode.



How To Access "Squad Rush" at Launch

North America: All customers that pre-order from GameStop (local retail store or website) on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will have an Exclusive Access* for 30 days to play the "Squad Rush" gamemode and any friends they bring with them. This means you can always play with your friends if you have the Exclusive Access* never forcing you to split from them, plus those that have this Exclusive Access* are a bit more popular... even if only for 30 days. ;-) *This game mode would be automatically unlocked for everyone after 30 days.



Rest of The World: No Exclusive Access, as this mode would be unlocked day 1 at no extra cost and you can also invite any of your American buddies to play as well.

So PC gets it day one.

PS3 redeem codes are xxxx-xxxx-xxxx so My Code aint gonna work.

Ive heard theres a "Redeem Code" section in the PC version main menu.. so are we to expect downloadable content to purchase?

That might be for future DLC that will cost.

As for this Day1 stuff, its all going to be like a patch to PC players.

There will be free stuff, and there will be things you'll have to pay for. There's also product tie-ins such as the Dr. Pepper exclusive Bad Company 2 codes.

Its just a different skin for a weapon it wont add anything else.. Who's to say they wont bring something like it out for the rest of the world.
