    Rpg-7

This weapon is ridiculously easy to use. I kind of wonder whether it behaves more like BF2 RPG-7 or BF2142 Pilum (which is the same to BF1942 BZK). Engineers should use RPG-7 as primary weapon instead of the useless pee shooters, especially during close combat. This thing doesn't give warning to vehicles, and is best suited for ambushing. The only drawback is that it's kind of very hard to shoot down Apache with it. But I doubt that it's only a matter of time before somebody becomes über with this stuff.

Will it become the n00b weapon in this game?

No, and the Pilum did not drop over distance. It was just inaccurate.

You will have to be a noob to noobtube with the RPG-7
The Carl Gustav flies faster, has more splash and reloads faster. And it also seems to have less drop.

And it flies towards it's target quicker.

It makes sense, the RPG is a very easy weapon to use in RL.

Well, every BF game thus far has been an exercise in explosives spam. BF1942 allowed you to take down tanks with hand grenades, BF2 had nadespam and clayspam, BF2142 had the Titan hallway cluster**** and PK rockets, and this game has AT rockets with sizable splash damage. It wouldn't be a BF game if it didn't discourage actually using a ballistic weapon to kill your opponents.

Strangely absent is BF:V as I don't recall a great deal of explosives usage in that game. Then again the guns in that game were scary accurate so maybe that's why?

I'll be using my anti infantry rocket and wire guided missile once the game is released, no use for the rpg anymore.

bazooka or panzershrek/panzerfaust whatever it was called took way more skills as it dropped much more over distance. it was so much more satisfying destroying vehicles in 1942 due to this.

Tank rounds dropped like rocks, too. I remember playing BF2 for a long time and then going back to some BF1942 and I couldn't hit **** with the tanks as all my shots were way short.

In semi-related news, someone has made a very detailed analysis of the RPG damage to different parts of a tank.
Take a look and memorize it, it is essential information for an Engineer.

                            Nice one! But, uh...

Does "100" mean an instant kill?
