Ghost houses?

Is anyone else getting "ghost buildings" showing up through smoke, trees, etc. whenever some effects happen? The Russian AA cannon seems to cause it the most.

Windows XP, 8800GT, latest Nvidia drivers.

If you hadn't said that you were using the latest drivers I would have suggested you update them. Maybe try rolling back to the previous drivers? It's been a few weeks since I updated mine and I haven't had an issues (8800gt as well).

It almost seems like a setting is too high. How do you have them set?

All low except for level of detail and textures which are medium.

Maybe a setting is too low then and not making this smokey foggy stuff correctly. Does it run bad if things are tweaked higher?

The only time I had that problem was with an overheating graphics card, might be worth giving it a clean (the fan).

I have them sometimes as well.
9800GT and everything on low.

You need to check your drivers. To me it seems that your card can not handle the settings.

Never had that problem using the beta drivers. If you wern't using the beta drivers. Try them.
