    I was never of the opinion that weapon damage needed a buff, as I have only ever played the beta and always got good reg but meh

    I suppose I shall be mowing people faster now

    although I hope this does not apply to shotguns

    Awesome. Let's hope 25% actually makes a difference. This may be going over my head right now, but wouldn't that mean if it takes 4 shots to kill someone, it'll take 3 now?

        apparently it takes something like 5-6, at least that seems to be the number floating around the steam forums, I personally never notice the number of bullets just that people go down bloody quick when I shoot them

        but perhaps one less bullet maybe 2

                    Damage is fine as is. Actually, without prone, damage needs to stay since i cant dive for cover anymore >.>

                        I'm sorry, you must be confused. There is no TotalFFOW on the TotalGaming network. Are you lost? :P

                        I don't think you actually REALIZE what comes with this. It may not happen in the beta but it will eventually. On Valdez or some other similar map you'll just spawn into a sniper warzone, not have a chance, because they just quick shot you. It's not fun to get shot out your parachute 3X times in a row man.

                          25% increase weapon damage means all you people shooting at the feet and torso gonna get headshotted more often.

                              From the most recent change log

                              Increased accuracy when stationary and aiming for better first shot accuracy.
                              Decreased accuracy when moving and aiming, especially for sniper rifles.
                              Several gun specific balance tweaks to bring them in line with the other weapons of that class.
                              Lowered the damage of the XM8 and F2000 at close range.
                              Lowered the damage of the AN94 at long range.
                              Raised the accuracy of the M16's burst.
                              Lowered the damage of the Type88 LMG.
                              Raised the damage of the MG3.
                              Raised the damage of the M249.
                              Fixed the recoil of the M249 when equipped with a reddot sight.
                              Lowered the damage of the SMGs and Carbines at extreme range.
                              Lowered the accuracy on the move for the SCAR-L, AKS-74u, and the XM8c.
                              Raised the damage of shotguns, especially for the pump shotguns and slugs.
                              Semiauto and Auto snipers and slug shotguns cannot 1 shot headshot at extreme range.
