I am not a console player, except the wii, which most dont count

This is a very good, entertaining video:

Maybe the guy is just that good, nothing wrong with that, but doesn't it look like there is some auto-aim? I thought there was no auto aim or that it was very negligible in this game?

Again, great video, very entertaining and well made. Deserves 5 stars. What are your thoughts on it? Am I just too console illiterate to understand whats going on?

And, I've played the demo on the 360, and (from I can tell) the hitboxes are fine and there is no auto aim...

So you are telling me that this guy has the spots down pat on when to fire the rockets and darts and all that? No assistance in this video at all?

Nope, thats all legit stuff, I saw this video awhile back. Its not so much that he gets those shots constantly, just that hes probably recorded so much footage he just compiled all of the best moments.

do other games like mw2 have different hitboxes on consoles? or a very generous hit detection?

I forget what they call it, but its some type of pixel collision thing and not hit boxes. Thats what IW says anyway, though CoD4 had hit detection problems when people bent forward or leaned.

There is aim assistance in the console version. By default it is on but you can go to the options and turn it off. I've tried it with it off and it didn't make any noticable difference to me. I'll probably need to try it for a while though to really see if there is any difference. The only problem is that on the console demo your control and option settings don't save for some reason so you have to remember to change them every time you play the game.

tho the hitboxes didnt seem that ridiciuosly large. just more like alot of lucky shots

hahah that was rather entertaining.

Obviously the guy is good, but only 10 minutes out of how many hours of gameplay? Video editing can be extremely deceptive.

It's also the netcode, specially the shots against choppers.

Well for me in the pc beta the rocket took a lot of time to leave the launcher xD
