In my last post I meant to say different unlocks in PS3 BETA than in PC BETA. The final release will have the same unlocks on all platforms, it's just that the PS3 BETA allowed players to test a different map and a different set of unlocks than the PC BETA players.

Who else can't wait for release?! Gah, I can't wait to play on a different map. I bet any server running this map will be dead for at least the first week!

I am pretty sure that its the vehicle unlock that comes with the Limited Edition:

Supreme Vehicle Firepower: Additional weapon packages are mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles, greatly expanding the range of targets the vehicle can successfully engage and destroy.

AFAIK it includes these items:

• Coaxial MG for the Tank
• MG for the UAV
• TOW for the Bradley
• Guided missiles for Helicopters

I could solo in 2142 and barely drop any distance, I'm sure I could pull it off with enough height and a pre-designated target.

Yes, you are right. I'm wondering since it says "Additional weapon packages are mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles". Does that mean the mobile AA as well?

Update: Found this on the Battlefield Blog. "The driver's position of the Mobile AA vehicle is also upgraded with a hull mounted machine gun to supplement the default 20mm automatic grenade launcher."

IDK about that. It drops fast and there is a heighth limit. I was testing it out a few days ago and you might get a few shots off with the cannon, but I dont think there is enough time for a missle guide.

UPDATE: Demize responded to M0t0rbreath on twitter and according to Demizes blog, its a tracer dart fired and no TOW. The reason is to discourage seat swapping.

So, will that tracer dart make the primary rockets track? Or will it be useless to the pilot?

IDK about that. It drops fast and there is a heighth limit. I was testing it out a few days ago and you might get a few shots off with the cannon, but I dont think there is enough time for a missle guide.

Yeah, it drops REALLY fast. And since you can't go all that high in the first place, and have very little real movement control due to the auto-leveling, trying to solo would be pretty worthless. They said they wanted to discourage swapping seats, they weren't ****ing around.

They havent said how this dart works. If it controls the helis rockets, that would be pretty sweet.

Yeah, because as it stands right now a pilot and co-pilot cant rake in any kills. /sarcasm

I dont see not having a tow missle very limiting. I gave a guy a 47 killstreak the other day in the chopper. It was great fun and he didnt mind not having a tow and I am by no means a great pilot. Of course I think I am a good one because I can fly and land the heli
