    Best Sniping I've Ever Experienced.

As much as I dislike sniping in just about every FPS i've played, I've always enjoyed those moments I myself am the sniper, and am cleverly hidden, picking off enemies one by one. As enjoyable as this was I really did not like how so many games used the 'Laser Rifle' sniper rifles, i.e you click and your bullet is already there. Every mainstream FPS is guilty of this, even Call of Duty, you may see the tracer traveling through the air, but if you simply shoot a wall from far away, you'll see a wall impact right after you click, before your 'tracer' reaches it. So really its a laser. America's Army was the only game I've played with correct bullet location, but it was ridiculously slow in that game. No one plays AA anymore anyways.

The first thing I noticed while sniping, was how the tracer was accurate to the bullets location. If you were sniping from far away, you weren't going to hit a moving target if you didn't lead. The addition of an accurate gravity system on bullets, is also a huge plus, it makes those long range kills oh so more satisfying. Lastly, i love the little things, like when the shot misses and hits a fence and you see it rip off a couple of planks, it really makes it feel like you are dishing out a deadly lead present,

As a result, I experience a much more immersive sniping experience, thus more enjoyable, especially when you snipe that running soldier from a good 3/8ths of a mile away. Big props for that.

I love sniping in this game but when most of your attacking team is snipers it doesn't lead to anywhere.

Seriously. I hate that. It's also annoying when you're defending. Even if you know your team is going to win... all those snipers get really annoying.

that's when you grab the shotgun, run up the side of the hill and enjoy a nice +5 to your k/d ratio. Heck, forget the shotgun, just run of there and grab dog tags =D

Wouldn't you die from being in the "off limits section though?"

Yea, you can run all the way to the base of the hill, (The area with trees) a bit further and you die

in my experience 10 seconds is more than enough time to snag a few kills. You can even make it back in time to survive if you time it right.

I see people do it all the time. You just have to be quick enough to get back down before you die, or just sacrifice yourself. There are usually plenty of snipers sitting there so it isn't too hard to get a few dog tags.

It's hard to hit the UAV when it's on the move with a sniper rifle. You have to take into account the bullet drop, distance, and lead your target. Sometime I shoot and I say to myself " WTF!?, that wasn't even close!" It's definitely something you have to adapt to and learn from. That's why I love battlefield. It has always had a learning curve especially for vehicles.

Just wish the maps were bigger and the sniper scope wasn't completely obnoxious. Aside from that, I enjoy it as well, although it's not nearly as fun as long range sniping in Battlefield 2 .

I love it. Aiming high to compensate the bullet drop and then "headshot"~ It's rewarding.

thats what the 50 cal on the construction site and spam spotting is for......i just spam spot those worthless snipers and even though i cant really see them i get a nice 3d triangle right over their heads to shoot at.

just spam spot that hill, your bound to locate 5 or 6 snipers you couldn't even see legitimately....defiantly cuts down on half the opposite team sitting up there twiddling their thumbs and trying to get the easiest kills possible.

snipping in this game does nothing but slow the pace because everyone wants the easiest kills with the least amount of work.
