running out of ammo!

Does anyone else notice that the guns seem to use up the ammo pretty fast? I mean especially when you spray(not saying I do but sometimes it's good) depletes rather fast then what I'm use to?

haha I have yet to run out of ammo. Either I am playing assault or I'm dead before I run out of ammo.

yeah, you lean to conserve your ammo, at least if you plan to live for a while. Sometimes while attacking, I'll go all the way to the last stage without dying, usually just using my pistol at that point

I've been known to run low on ammo when playing Engineer and using the shotgun, since I shoot at just about anything that doesn't have a blue/green name above it (and even then, sometimes ). I think you only get 8 extra shells with the Remington and 4 in the chamber, and those go quickly. I usually use the rocket upgrade when I'm engie so weapon ammo is in short supply. Usually there's enough assault guys around, though.

I find that usually there are but they never seem to drop ammo when you need it.

If you run out of ammo that means you don't work with your squad. I think it is great that you are limited, makes it harder to go alone.

^^^ Work with your squad??? Sorry Pierre but squad play is almost entirely non-existant in the beta. Even when I join a squad people seem to use each other as spawn points only to run off in seperate directions to do their own thing. That said, yes, when playing anything but assualt, I run out of ammo. If you learn to stay alive much longer you will realize just how easy it is to run out of ammo. And the gadget upgrade is usefull until you unlock more usefull gadgets like extra rockets for engineer or extra grenades.

I think I've run out of ammo once so far, I just switched to my pistol and continued killing.

If you are consistently running out of ammo and can't seem to conserver it, there is a perk that increases the number of clips you hold.

Because they want to reward actually resupplying the other people on your team, instead of just holding on to the ammo pack and maybe resupplying a guy running by at best.

That is because 90% of the time, the only squadmember alive to spawn on will be a sniper camping with no intention of moving.
