that there is always a dominant weapon in these games?.. Just like CoD4 had the AK-47 and WaW had the MP5 it seems the new weapon of choice is the ACR for MW2.. Why can they never balance it between the weapons?

Yes, I know some people can use the M4 and Famasetc etc just as well but there is no denying that the ACR is the Jesus weapon in this game.

I tried the M16 and Famas and I enjoy using them but my K/d is three times higher when using the ACR, I'm very rarely below second place when using the ACR, however when I'm using the famas or M16 I'm lucky to make 3rd.

The acr doest have that much damadge but the thing whit it, is that it doesnt have any recoil at all so you basicly can just spray it across the map and kill ppl. But when you come across a player whit an ak or scar he will have the upper hand on you. I m currently using the ak47 and i can say that it has the most damadge but it has so much recoil that you eventualy will have to sacrifice one thing. The only weapons that i think that are not balanced are the akimbo crap especialy the new models the g18 akimbos. It seems everyone left the akimbos 1887 for g18 akimbo now

See for me damage isn't that big of a deal because once you get on target their aim is pushed off by your bullets not to mention the pink goo allover their screen.. That's why I think the ACR is by far the #1 assault in this game. Fast spray, decent damage and deadly accurate.. By the time they notice you're shooting them they are watching kill cam xD

True but you can say this to all guns aswell, if you hit them first ther is a big chance you are going to kill but if the other player is decent he can still pull off something sins it takes more bullets to take some some1 down whit an acr. I killed many ppl that wher shooting at me and my screen was all messed up. It all comes down to your reaction and your aim rly.

Yes I know, but it's the ACR's accuracy that makes it soo powerful.. You can reach out to someone across the entire map with it. Where as the AK-47 or whatever has too much recoil.. Also the ACR is also a great weapon to shoot from the hip, it's incredibly accurate.

I don't think any gun is really that overpowered in MW2 besides the UMP and SCAR. The ACR is one of the bad assault rifles in my opinion. It doesn't have the damage and bullet penetration to meet most situations I'm in. (especially if I'm playing SC which I don't do often) Most smart players will be behind cover when exchanging fire and if the person using the ACR doesn't get hits in the exposed areas, then all the damage will be sucked away by the cover and will most likely lose. I prefer the FAMAS and AK47 over all the other assault rifles because of the great damamge of the AK and the great accuracy of the FAMAS.

Oh yeah in the first post, I believe the STG was the god weapon of WaW. I hated it when people used that gun.

I don't agree with the first post. With the low damage of the ACR I find it quite useless. I'll much rather use a TAR-21 that can deal some damage. I play 100% S&D and I find the TAR-21 or UMP to be much more useful then the ACR. I play with a silencer btw so with that the ACR needs like 6 bullets to kill while the TAR-21 needs about 3.

My KD ratio is super high with the UMP, marathon, lightweight and ninja all pro.

And ACR players usually come up short against me because I am used to this weapon combo and I'm good with it. That's what it's all about.

you have to pair up ACR with stopping power to deal decent damage, and SCAR up with scavenger for the low ammo count.

(ohno) I want to shoot marshmellows! What gun was that? I dont remember seeing that.

As for overpowered guns, yeah, I think the ACR could be one of them, but so could the M41 and that light machine gun thats awesome, I forget the name of it but if you put the grip on it and holo sight, you can use it as an assault rifle.

I think that LMG is worse to use than the ACR, especially since it has the power and the clip size.
