After more than 3 years, the EU transport right side gun might be fixed!

Yup, you heard it right. no, you're not going insane. they have sorted out what seems to be the issue behind the EU transport right side gun that never really worked (shooting blanks).

Baza from dice states here:

Niklas fixed the transport chopper camera and model where when you jumped into the side guns your view would invert and so would the gun model.

One down...

and it was pretty confusing what he meant until community modder jason brice (creator of operation shingles) came out and said:

this issue is directly related to fixing the EU Gunner. If all goes as planned, that EU gunner issue will be resolved. Myself, Dice, and Dtneter from ER did work on resolving this bug...hopefully all will be sorted.!

In all my years and hours of playing BF2142 I don't think I ever noticed this bug...

More like 500-600. lol.

I just don't sit in transports that often, I'm usually flying them. When I do, I don't bother shooting at stuff most of the time since I'm usually getting ready to jump out or land on the titan.

ooh if you piloted a lot, i bet you had tons of TKs when the game was new where people would keep jumping out when you're still trying to land.
