I doubt that very much. That would also make the Beta rather pointless.

Could be, I didn't really think of that. But on the other hand, the 5-6 patches that will be necessary after release also count as builds

Yeah consoles will not get any patches, so whoever buys the game for them is stuck with whatever problems arise.

I take it you don't own a console. Consoles get updates which is the same as a patch. For example the care package glitch in MW2 for the consoles was updated before the PC version.

Not only can they get patches. The PS3 has keyboard and mouse support, mostly for web surfing and some games support it as well. There was even mod support for unreal tournament on PS3.

While us on the PC side keep complaining about consolization, consoles are getting the better sides of the PC, and are really slowly turning into full fledge PC's. They all have a web browser now, and with keyboard support that really is what most people do for basic computer use.

I know. I am usually wary about stuff like that when it seems too misinformed.

Wasn't there some type of code that if things were sarcastic the text would be in green or purple or something?

DICE and console patches don't go hand in hand, don't be surprised. I wasn't being sarcastic. Just look at BC1 and BF1943.
