i got a xbox 360 elite this christmas and was wondering what you guys think the top 5 xbox 360 games are. and also if anyone has modern warfare 2 is it really that good or is it overated? my xboxlive acount is (x muraka x)

Depends on what you like, personally:

1. Burnout: Takedown
2. Splinter Cell: Chas Theory (old, but still one of the best games around)
3.Serious Sam HD (I like it)
4. Fable 2
5. Darksiders

borderlands
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Assassin's Creed 2

Personally, I mostly play console sports games....I just enjoy playing shooters and most other games on the PC cause thats what i'm use to. I've heard really good things about Forza 3 and the demo for Bayonetta was really good, plus it got pretty outstanding reviews. Guess it really depends on what kind of games your looking for.......

I have played MW2 and I enjoyed it and all the MW2 cry babies can gtfo. The only downside for me is that I live in Australia and there is no Local Search for XBL, so most of the time I get stuck in an overseas server with plenty of lag. I have not played it on PC yet, thinking of buying it for it though...just need to get more RAM and a better Graphics card.

GOW is pretty epic, the second seems alot more polished for gfx than the first, as for Halo, it's an alright FPS imo i just don't get the whole "OMG ITS HALO AMAZING GAME!!111111!!!!" thing, but that's the same as the hype/following for BF:BC2 from BF2 fans i guess.

for some reason I can't get into gears of war. Its one of those games that is fun for about 15 minutes then I get bored with it.....

as for Halo, it's an alright FPS imo i just don't get the whole "OMG ITS HALO AMAZING GAME!!111111!!!!"

I still think Halo is probably the most fun I've ever had cooperatively playing a video game...at least the original was....

There's not a lot of big new games so we can only think of what it will be when enough games will be released.

Gear of War 2 will be replaced with the third one, same for Mass Effect 3. Maybe LA noire but it doesn't interest me so I don't know. Also Dark Souls, which is a spiritual sequel of the good Demon's Souls and Battlefield 3.
