Bad Company 2 Pre Order question

Does anyone know if there will be the same "perks" available if the game is pre-ordered from either Gamestop or BEst Buy. I have noticed that if the game is pre-ordered from Gamestop you receive a Beta Code as well as a weapon bonus.

There is not anything listed on the Best Buy website on any of these additional features.

Gamestop is the only guaranteed beta code place right now as far as I know

As for other "perks" it will depend what exclusive content they may have. If BestBuy doesnt mention anything else, then it probably doesnt have anything else.

Just an FYI, BestBuy had the weapon bonus for 2142 a few years back and all it was was a reskinned gun. Cool to have, but nothing great or a big deal. I am sure this will be the same case.

Game stop is offering the same unlcoks as EA and the additional gun. So far Gamestop seems to have the best bargain, but you can save about 10 bucks via download through EA. If you search there was about 5 download sites added for beta codes. I believe they were all European sites as well.

All it really does is give you an insignificant head start since you will be able to unlock those things within the first few ranks.

The bonus unlocks are just that, early access to a few unlocks you'll get whilst playing normally.

The beta key i guess should be the one we look for.

I can also confirm that Game in the UK are doing the unlocks, but not the beta key (confirmed from their customer service)
