CTD trying to change graphics

Hey guys, Ive just hooked my computer up to my 19" HDTV via HDMI. BF2 runs but when I go to change ANY settings on the video settings it will just crash to desktop. I have an Nvidia 9500 GT 1GB video card and I know it runs on high because it did so on my old PC LCD monitor. Any tips?

Find the refresh rate of your monitor, if it's under 60Hz you wont get it working most likely.
If it's 60Hz or over it should work, try deleting the video.con file in Documents\Battlefield 2\profiles\Default if the game then starts you will probably have to delete the one in 0001 to play and setup video options to get the best picture.
If the screen runs at an odd refrsh rate like 61,62 etc you may have to manually edit the video.con files with notepad.
