    Mic. Problems (too quiet)

My mic on my headset is fine for TS2, Vent, TS3.. Anything. But in COD5 the mic bar in options barely moves and stays red. Wtf?

    Re: Mic. Problems (too quiet)

It was very hard to get my mic to work right for WaW and everything else. WaW used the Windows audo program to run its sound, including mic. I had to turn on the mic boost in the sound control panel and then adjust all my other programs to make it work. I then adjusted the mic volume control in the advanced settings in Windows and that was able to adjust everything.

If you need help with finding any of those settings, let us know what version of Windows you are running.

Yeah I'm Vista 64bit but have no mic boost option on my mic. Which is the pain in the arse.

You should have it in Vista itself though. Do you not or is that what you mean?

That's what I mean, there is no Custom tab or Mic Boost option for it in Recording Devices.
