Does BF:BC2 support EAX? If so what version?

    Does BF:BC2 support EAX? If so what version?

    I was curious about this because I was considering buying a sound card but I do not know if BC2 support EAX. If anyone knows if it does can they please say the version (EAX 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 etc.) so I can act accordingly. Thanks.

    all software sound. no hardware sound. is there such thing as software EAX?

          Repi confirmed it on twitter. So It doesnt matter if you got onboard sound card or Asus xonar for 250E.

            Repi said the sound is all done on the CPU, so a sound card is not really needed. That's why a Quadcore is recommended.

              Really? That is actually kind of annoying. I was actually thinking about buying a new sound card to replace my old work horse Audigy 2 ZS.

                you'll still get the advantages of an X-Fi, but not EAX 5 or 128 sounds.
