Backing up soldier.

Hey guys,
Tonight I am upgrading my operating system from vista to windows 7.
I am doing a clean install so I will have no data left on my computer.
What I want to know if there is a way of backing up my MW2 soldier data as I have no intention of starting over again.
Speedy responses would be appreciated, thanks.

If you make a fresh install then the game ought to get your saves from steamcloud. But I understand if you dont want to rely on that.

I regularly make a backup of <Your Install Dir>\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players but I havent had to do a restore yet.
