Alright, Merry Christmas people. But heres my problem: I have Windows Ultimate and it works lovely with the game. But, I sometimes get an error while loading a map. (Ex: Loading Map: Terminal |-------- |) it will stick at 25% and make a beeping sound saying: DirectX Error DirectX has encountered an unrecoverable error. Please check DirectX. I have the version 9.0c installed and I re-installed it 4 times! So theres the first problem, now heres another.
I goto play a match and it lets me play 5 minutes in the game and then the game quits. It just quits having a window pop-up saying:
    _____________________________________________
    | "Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 has stopped working"|
    | ____________________________________________|
    1. Check for solutions to this problem.
    2. Close the program.

This is just driving me insane!

    Re: Crashing

Can you get better details on the DirectX error?

My first guess is DirectX itself needs to be reinstalled or updated. When you install the game, that should be an option though, so I am not sure if that would correct it for you.

My second guess is because its a directx error, there could be a video driver issue. An update of video drivers may correct it.

        Re: Crashing

"Direct X has encountered an unrecoverable error. Please read the ReadMe file for more help."

I even looked up some fixes. Start>Run> dxdiag and it should find errors. I did that and it found non. So wtf. Do I need a new Graphics card???

If so, does this one look pretty sick!? !CLICK ME!
