Why do they keep saying this?

Nowhere near BF2 and OFP...but a little longer then most
It will probably manage to keep a few players but as no competative player worth his salt will stay around, clans and such like with move on and buy servers for games with demo recording capabilities.

You'll just be left with the casual gamers, who tend to be less skilled. Which means the more skilled dedicated gamers will grow bored far with the game.

You're post. It doesn't make sense.

I would fall in that competitive gamer category... and I still don't know what you mean.

What doen't make sense about it?They are saying this game will have no shelf life because it doesn't ship with a battlerecorder.I know plenty of people that will still play it.Just because it doesn't appeal to competitive gamers, doesn't mean it will not be an extremly popular game and have lots of people playing it.Right?

            Re: question about competitive gamers

Well that is a big factor in preventing cheating in competitive leagues, and when you have strong leagues and competition a game will always be more lively.

MW2 is dead already for most people that bought it, and it was such a big title now siting on a shelf somewhere.
