Many might argue that BF2142 wasn't as good as other games in the series, but at the least, they improved the cinematics, I think.

I loved the BF2142 intro, my 13yo mind was absorbed into its world...Best into ever!

I liked the BF2 intro better, it focused on one fight.

The best thing about all these intros is that they use, real game footage not some pre-generated animations like other games.

It's still a ritual for me that I watch the intro of the Bf games I install before playing and renaming the intro files.

In the end every intro is great somehow, Bf42 the classic, amazing music and scenes (I think up to that point nobody knew how awesome WW2 can still be), BfV had this great atmosphere, showing scenes from both sides and many war situations with the awesome creedence clearwater revival in the background, Bf2 intro with the focus on modern warfare showcasing many new features, SF was nice as well, simply well done; and finally 2142 was great as well.

There isn't the one perfect intro for me as they all show perfectly the different scenarios in the best way they can. Even if BF42 and BfV are really those which send me shivers down the spine.

I still sends chills down my spines just how terrible BF2142 intro is compared to the rest. Its like a disjointed pile of messy footage. I absolutely hate that game and the intro sums it up. My favourite is BF2 intro, I feel some nostalgia while watching it.
