Battlefield Keeps Minimizing While I'm Playing

so heres my problem, i'll be playing a round of BF2142 and all of a sudden it'll minimize and ill have to click the bar on my task bar to resume my game. this happens around 2 times per round. why is it happening and what can i do to fix it?

shut off your background apps. use the taskmanager to see which ones.
